Managing Legal and Enterprise Risk
As regulations and governance requirements evolve across North America and around the world, legal leaders are scrambling to stay on top of a rising number of organizational risks, from the shifting geopolitics impacting operating models and supply chains to the digital transformations reshaping who companies hire (and fire) and how they do business.
The questions in this survey aim to address some of those risks. The answers will be used to produce statistics and inform the content of our report on legal and enterprise risk, which will be freely available to everyone in the legal and business community.
Results will be anonymized unless you explicitly agree to be quoted in the report by checking a box at the end of the survey.
Official Giveaway Rules
1. Sponsor
The 2026 survey on “Managing Legal and Enterprise Risk” (the “Giveaway”) is sponsored and administered by ADB Insights Inc., operating as The Legal Innovation Forum (the “Sponsor”), with a business address at: 151 Yonge St 11th Floor, M5C 2W7 Toronto , ON

3. Eligibility
The Giveaway is open only to individuals who:
- Are twenty-one (21) years of age or older at the time of entry
- Are legal residents of the United States or Canada
- Hold one of the following professional titles (or its equivalent) at the time of entry:
- General Counsel
- Chief Legal Officer
- Deputy General Counsel
- Associate General Counsel
- Assistant General Counsel
- Senior Counsel
- Are currently employed at a Fortune 500 company or Top 100 publicly listed Canadian company (as ranked by revenue for 2025) or one of its subsidiaries
Entrants must provide:
- A valid corporate email address
- A LinkedIn profile or company page profile
- Confirmation of their current employer and title
Sponsor reserves the right to request additional verification of employment, including but not limited to proof of title, company affiliation, or other supporting documentation.
Entries from individuals who cannot verify eligibility will be disqualified.
3.1. Exclusions
The Giveaway is not open to:
- Employees, officers, or directors of the Sponsor and their Partners (“Partners” = any company associated with or in current business with ADB Insights / The Legal Innovation Forum)
- Immediate family members (spouse, parents, siblings, children) of such employees and partners
- Individuals living in the same household as such employees and partners
- Any individual involved in the administration of the Giveaway
The Giveaway is void where prohibited by law.
4. HOW TO ENTER
To enter the Giveaway, eligible participants must:
- Complete The 2026 General Counsel Survey Giveaway “Managing Legal and Enterprise Risk” hosted on Jotform
- Submit the survey during the Promotion Period
- Provide the required professional information
No purchase is necessary to enter or win. Participation in the survey is free and no payment or consideration of any kind is required.
Limit one (1) entry per person.
Multiple entries or attempts to circumvent the entry limits may result in disqualification.
5. PRIZE
Four (4) prizes will be awarded.
Each prize consists of:
- One (1) $500 USD digital gift card to Amazon
Approximate Retail Value (ARV):
- $500 USD per prize
- $2,000 USD total ARV
Prizes are non-transferable, and no substitution will be made except at the Sponsor’s sole discretion
6. Winner Selection
Four (4) potential winners will be selected through a random draw from all eligible entries received during the Promotion Period.
The draw will be conducted in Toronto, Canada on 04-17-2026.
In addition, four (4) alternate potential winners (“sub-winners”) will also be randomly selected in case a selected entrant:
- Does not meet eligibility criteria
- Fails to respond within the required time
- Declines the prize
- Cannot be verified
7. Winner Notification
Potential winners will be contacted on 04-20-2026 via:
- LinkedIn message
Winners must respond within seventy-two (72) hours of the notification attempt.
Failure to respond within this time may result in disqualification, and an alternate winner may be selected.
8. Verification Requirements
Before receiving a prize, potential winners may be required to:
- Confirm their professional title
- Confirm their employer
- Provide proof of employment
- Confirm their LinkedIn profile
- Complete and return any required verification documentation
Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who fails to meet eligibility requirements.
9. Skill-Testing Question
To comply with Canadian promotional contest regulations, Canadian residents selected as potential winners must correctly answer a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question without assistance before being declared a confirmed winner.
Example format: (10 × 4) + 12 − 6 = ?
Failure to correctly answer the skill-testing question may result in disqualification.

By entering the Giveaway, participants agree that their information may be:
- Collected and processed by the Sponsor
- Added to the Sponsor’s professional contact database
- Used for communications related to industry research, events, and insights

13. Limitation of Liability
The Sponsor is not responsible for:
- Technical failures
- Incomplete or inaccurate entries
- Lost, late, misdirected, or corrupted submissions
- Technical problems with the survey platform
Participation through Jotform does not imply endorsement by the platform provider.
14. Sponsor Rights
Sponsor reserves the right to:
- Cancel, suspend, or modify the Giveaway if necessary
- Disqualify entrants who violate these rules
- Verify eligibility at any time prior to awarding prizes
