Welcome to ADB Insights Inc., our News and Media E-commerce website.

These terms and conditions (the “Terms and Conditions”) govern the use of https://www.liforum.co/ (the “Site”) and any services, digital content, or products, including news, media, and e-commerce transactions. This Site is owned and operated by the CEO and founder, Andrew Bowyer.

By using this Site, you indicate that you have read and understand these Terms and Conditions and agree to abide by them at all times. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

Use of the Website

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or terminate access to this Site at any time without prior notice. We  reserve the right to remove content and take action against violators.

When you create an account on our Site, you agree to the following:

  2. All personal information you provide to us through your account is up to date, accurate, and truthful and that you will update your personal information if it changes.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you are using our Site illegally, we suspect fraudulent activity, or if you violate these Terms and Conditions.

Intellectual Property

All content published and made available on our Site is owned by or licensed to ADB Insights Inc. and the Site’s creators and protected by copyright and trademark laws. This includes, but is not limited to images, text, logos, documents, downloadable files and anything that contributes to the composition of our Site.

You may not reproduce, distribute, or modify our content without written permission.

If you submit user-generated content (e.g., comments, reviews, etc.), you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, modify, and display it.

Purchases, Payments & Event Terms:

Payments & Currency

We offer event registrations, tickets, and related purchases on ADB Insights Inc.’s Site. By purchasing an event, you agree to these Terms.

Accepted Currencies and Payments:

  1. We accept payments in both United States (USD) and Canadian Dollars (CAD). The currency applicable to your transaction will depend on the location of the event, your billing address and payment method, any currency preferences displayed during checkout.
  2. If you are paying in a currency different from your payment providers default currency, conversion fees may apply, and your bank or credit card issuer may charge additional fees.
  3. Payments are processed securely via third-party providers. We do not store credit card details. We implement industry-standard encryption and fraud protection measures to secure your transactions. However, we are not responsible for losses resulting from user negligence or third-party security breaches beyond our reasonable control.
Pricing & Taxes
  1. All event prices are listed in either USD or CAD, and applicable taxes (e.g., sales tax, VAT, or GST/HST) will be calculated at checkout.
  2. For Canadian events, prices may be subject to Goods and Services Tax (HST), or Provincial Sales Tax (PST), depending on the province.
  3. If you pay in a currency different from yur banks local currency, your bank may apply its own exchange rate, which may differ from real-time market rates.
Cancellations & Refunds
  1. Event registrations and tickets are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled or re-scheduled. Transfers may be allowed based on event policies.
  2. If an event is cancelled or rescheduled, you will be offered a credit for a future event.
  3. If you do not attend the event, no refund or credit will be provided unless required by law.
Event Participation & Conduct

By registering for or attending any ADB Insights Inc. event (including conferences, webinars, workshops, roundtables, or online programs), you agree to:

  1. Comply with all applicable laws and venue/platform rules
  2. Conduct yourself in a professional and respectful manner
  3. Refrain from disruptive, unlawful, or harassing behavior

We reserve the right to remove any participant from an event, without refund, if their conduct is deemed inappropriate, unsafe, or in violation of these Terms.

Virtual Events & Platform Use

For virtual or hybrid events, participation may require the use of third-party platforms. Your use of such platforms is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for technical failures, internet connectivity issues, or platform disruptions beyond our reasonable control.

Media Release

By attending or participating in any ADB Insights Inc. event (in-person, virtual, or hybrid), you acknowledge and agree that the event may be recorded through photography, audio, and/or video recording.

You grant ADB Insights Inc. a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, reproduce, publish, distribute, and display your image, likeness, voice, and participation for marketing, promotional, educational, commercial, and archival purposes in any media format.

If you do not wish to be recorded, you must notify us in advance or inform event staff at the event. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate such requests.

Privacy & Data Protection

We collect and process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using our Site, you consent to our data protection practices, including cookies and analytics tracking.

Links to Other Websites

Our Site contains links to third party websites or services that we do not own or control. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third party website or service linked to on our Site. It is your responsibility to read the terms and conditions and privacy policies of these third party websites before using these sites.

Warranty + Liability

Disclaimer of Warranties

ADB Insights Inc. provide news, media, and e-commerce services as is without warranties. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or error-free content.

Limitation of Liability

ADB Insights Inc. and our directors, officers, agents, employees, subsidiaries, and affiliates will not be liable for any actions, claims, losses, damages, liabilities and expenses including legal fees from your use of the Site.

Indemnity

Except where prohibited by law, by using this Site you indemnify and hold harmless ADB Insights Inc. and our directors, officers, agents, employees, subsidiaries, and affiliates from any actions, claims, losses, damages, liabilities and expenses including legal fees, whether indirect, incidental, or consequential, arising out of your use of our Site or your violation of these Terms and Conditions.

Applicable Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Canada, Ontario, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration or the courts of Canada, Ontario, unless consumer protection laws require otherwise. 

Severability

If at any time any of the provisions set forth in these Terms and Conditions are found to be inconsistent or invalid under applicable laws, those provisions will be deemed void and will be removed from these Terms and Conditions. All other provisions will not be affected by the removal and the rest of these Terms and Conditions will still be considered valid.

Changes

These Terms and Conditions may be amended from time to time in order to maintain compliance with the law and to reflect any changes to the way we operate our Site and the way we expect users to behave on our Site. We will notify users by email of changes to these Terms and Conditions or post a notice on our Site.
